Standardize post-professional physical therapy training and education in pelvic and obstetrical physical therapy
Provide a comprehensive and fundamental education intended to cover extensively those skills and topics that are essential for all PTs practicing in prenatal and postpartum women's health and pelvic floor rehabilitation
Recognize those who have completed the post-professional training
All Pelvic PT courses are evidenced based courses, fully referenced with current evidence when available. Intervention studies in the Pelvic PT course manuals are rated using the Oxford Centre Levels of Evidence rannking the power of the study results.

CAPP testing times:
Testing will occur within the course framework.
Intended audience:
All courses are open to physical
therapists.
PTAs and PT students in their last year of
PT school can attend level 1.

Mandatory course preparation
Required pre-reading: It is necessary to complete all assigned
reading before the course. All pre-reading is
available
"Common
forms" Many of these forms will be discussed at the courses. You may find it helpful to print them and bring them to the courses, however it is not a requirement
Lab: Participants will be working in groups of 2 or 3
during labs. These courses include extensive lab work.
All participants should come prepared to participate as
both clinician and patient. All Male participants and female participants
who cannot, for any reason, participate as lab subjects
need to provide their own lab partners. Click

Pregnant women who wish to fully
participate in this course must have written permission
